LA DIVA & SILVAN ZINGG * BELOVED BOOGIE WOOGIE *

Silvan Zingg and Ladyva (Vanessa Gnägi) present their joint 4-handed Boogie Woogie Piano program. The new album comes out on 22nd April 2017. It's called "BELOVED BOOGIE WOOGIE". It contains all 4-handed pieces, from classics to originals.

Last year in summer, the unique Swiss piano duo between the Ticino Boogie Woogie icon Silvan Zingg and the charming Bernese woman Ladyva was created. The good feeling between both artists on stage is transferred to the audience with joy and happiness.

The musicians were able to celebrate successful performances at festivals in the recent months: e.g. in Spain (Terrassa Boogie & Blues Reunion), France (Marcq-en-Barœul) and Switzerland (Boogie Night Chur).

Their charming interplay is precise, performed with virtuosity and playfulness. The features are harmonically reworked riffs, imaginative improvisations and rousing rhythmic bass riffs.

The next concert of Silvan Zingg and Ladyva will be at the International Boogie Woogie Festival in Lugano. Already for the 16th time, Zingg invites world-class pianists and world-champion Boogie Woogie dancers in Lugano. The program offers more than 24 hours of live-music and dance on three days (21st to 23rd April). The opening will be on Friday with the Gala Dinner at Hotel Eden in Paradiso. Afterwards on Saturday there will be dance classes and piano master-classes. In the evening, the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano will be brought to a boil. The finale will take place on the Lago di Lugano with live-music, a great brunch and a stunning view of the surroundings.
