THE FRENCH BOOGIE BOYS

The French Boogie Boys is a piano duo playing Boogie-Woogie, Blues and Stride.

Self-taught pianist, Bruno Duyé was bitten by the Boogie bug at the age of sixteen while on vacation in Laroquebrou, the village of his grandfather.

After having finished a classical music training course, Christophe Benz met Bruno who introduced him to Boogie-Woogie.

They have been performing together for fifteen years, sharing a mutual interest in the "two piano" Boogie style, inspired from Albert Ammons, Meade Lux Lewis and Pete Johnson. These two have lost none of their complicity and regularly perform in festivals and concert halls; more recently with Sax Gordon and Nirek Mokar in "Spectacular Boogie".
